Jessops Unveils its 6th Centre of Excellence Store 

Jessops, the UK’s leading photographic retailer is delighted to announce the unveiling of another of its successful Centre of Excellence stores located in New Oxford Street, London. At over 2,700 sq. ft., boasting a Training Academy and Photography Studio on its ground floor, this newly refurbished store is located in Central London’s heart of consumer electronics stores and is the first Centre of Excellence store to be launched this year – with more planned later this year.

The store showcases a customer friendly layout enabling customers to test and trial a vast portfolio of cameras, camcorders, accessories and Jessops photo products. Products are presented on stylish free standing display units and supported by welcoming, trained staff to offer ‘Advice for Life’ expert knowledge. Customers will be encouraged to trial the products and staff will happily demonstrate key features such as low light, Wi-Fi cameras and superzoom. This next level of interactivity means customers can easily compare the performance of comparative cameras with this refreshing hands on approach.
The innovative shop-in-shop design allows the customer to browse by brand, including Canon, Nikon, Sony, Samsung, Panasonic, Pentax and Tamron which creates a fully branded customer experience. There is also a designated area for bags and cases making navigation around the store accessible and enjoyable and with the introduction of an extended Lowepro range and new brands such as Crumpler, you will be spoilt for choice!

Jessops offers the facility to set up your camera for free and its experts are on hand to offer any advice or assistance if required. By showing the customer how to use their new purchase and answering any questions they may have, adds to the customer experience and allows them to leave the store with a ready to use camera.
The newly refurbished Central London Centre of Excellence store showcases an extensive range of photo products and services including lab quality photo printing available in as little as 25 minutes. The store also features an in-store large format printer enabling customers to take away stunning posters and canvas prints within an hour. The all-new photo create wall showcases the exciting range of photo products and gifts including brand-new instant photo gifts. A full range of gifts are also available to order through our in-store kiosks to be collected at a later date.

Jessops Academy photography training courses are also available in- store where you can learn how to get the very best from your photographic equipment from photography professionals. The courses are available for all levels of photography, so whether you are a complete beginner or a professional – there will be a course suited for you, prices start at £119. For a more affordable studio session, Studio Express in-store portrait service is available from just £7.99, complimented by a Jessops photographer and using top of the range Canon photographic equipment. This service offers prints and wall art and photo gifts within 1 hour of the session so customers can take their photo prints and products home the same day.
