Pentax unveils designer CSC
Pentax has unveiled an eye-catching new Compact System Camera (CSC). The K-01 has been developed in collaboration with designer Marc Newson and it's undeniably different to the other models on the market - especially in the yellow bodied form. Design aside, the stand out feature has to be the fact that the K-01 has a K mount, allowing it to use a huge range of lenses, both old and new. Tokina launch 17-35mm zoom
Tokina has launched a new wide-angle zoom lens. Designed for those Canon and Nikon users lucky enough to have a full frame DSLR, the new AT-X 17-35mm f/4 is sure to find favour among keen landscape photographers or those purely after shooting a wider view. Benro updates Travel Angel range
Benro has updated its range of Travel Angel tripods. The new Travel Angel 2 range comprises six models made in both aluminium and carbon fibre. All the models feature legs which can be independently locked in two positions, a ball & socket head, plus one leg that can be converted into a monopod. Epson introduces wireless A3+ printer
Wireless inkjet printing has, until now, been the preserve of A4 models, but Epson has changed all that with the launch of the Stylus Photo 1500W. The unit is capable of printing up to A3+ images from any wireless device including desktop and laptop computers as well as iPhones and iPads. Panasonic bolsters compact ranges
Compact cameras are proving popular at the CES show in Las Vegas with Panasonic joining Olympus and Canon by launching a number of additions, including two models in the new Stylish Zoom range. The Lumix DMC-SZ7 (left) and DMC-SZ1 both offer a 10x optical zoom lens that stretches from 25-250mm and HD video recording capabilities. The primary difference between the two models is the sensor.
